Terms & Conditions – The Granary

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all reservations made at The Granary. By booking a stay, you agree to these terms. 

The Granary offers serviced apartments and is not a traditional hotel. Stays are therefore subject to specific rules outlined below.


2. Reservations and Payment 

Reservations can be made via our website, email, or through third-party platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Hotels.com). 
Valid payment details must be provided when booking. The amount may be held on the card as a guarantee. 
The full amount for the stay is payable upon check-in, unless otherwise agreed. 


3. Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival. 
For cancellations later than 48 hours before arrival, or in case of no-show, the full amount for the first night will be charged. 
For longer stays (7+ nights), special cancellation terms may apply – these will be provided at the time of booking. 
Cancellations must be made in writing via email or through the platform used for booking.


4. Pricing Information 

All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT and applicable fees. 
Any additional services (e.g., extra cleaning, late check-out) will be clearly indicated at booking and added to the price. 
We reserve the right to adjust prices in case of changes in taxes, fees, or obvious errors. 


5. Check-in and Check-out 

Check-in: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. 
Check-out: by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. 
Late check-out may be arranged for an additional fee, subject to availability. 


6. Guest Responsibilities 

The apartment may only be used by the number of guests specified in the reservation. 
Smoking is not allowed indoors. Violation may incur a fee of DKK 5,000. 
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to furniture, the building, or property during their stay.


7. Limitation of Liability  

The Granary is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings during the stay. 
We do not accept liability for indirect losses or consequential damages.


8. Complaints 

If you wish to make a complaint about your stay, please contact us directly at:

If no resolution is found, you may submit a complaint to: 

  • The Danish Consumer Ombudsman via www.forbrug.dk 
  • The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform via http://ec.europa.eu/odr 

9. Amendments to Terms 

The Granary reserves the right to amend these terms. The current version will always be available on our website.
